GCCSAT supplies Intellian, Cobham/Sailor, and ViaSat maritime VSAT antenna systems in the 60cm–1m range, combined with iDirect and Hughes modems. For LEO, we supply Intellian OW70M and Kymeta Hawk u8.

GCCSAT-supplied maritime VSAT systems with three-axis gyro-stabilised antennas maintain satellite lock in sea state 6 (waves up to 6m). Reinforced marine-grade models maintain lock in sea state 9 for vessels operating in harsh polar or North Sea conditions.

GCCSAT works with vessel managers to ensure communications systems meet SOLAS distress communications requirements. VSAT complements — but does not replace — mandatory GMDSS equipment such as Inmarsat-C and EPIRBS.
